Groundwork That Helps Property Plans Move Forward

Total Grounds Maintenance was built around a practical idea: property owners should have one experienced crew they can turn to when difficult land stands between them and their next project. Owner Gustavo Varela saw people dealing with overgrown properties, challenging terrain, and contractors who did not always follow through, which helped shape a more hands-on approach to property preparation.

For over six years, we have worked with Florida terrain, vegetation, soil, and site conditions. That experience shapes how we approach each property. Instead of looking only at the immediate task, we consider what the customer wants to accomplish afterward. Clearing land for construction requires different planning than opening an access path, preparing for a concrete slab, addressing drainage concerns, or completing septic work.

As an owner-operated business, Gustavo stays connected to the work while we use our own experienced crew rather than relying on unfamiliar subcontractors for the services we provide. Our team brings the equipment and manpower needed to handle residential and commercial projects while keeping the work personal and straightforward. Customers can explain what they need, understand the work involved, and move forward with a crew that knows the property goals.

Our capabilities include land clearing services, forestry mulching, excavation services, concrete slab installation, and septic installation and repair. Having these capabilities under one business helps us address multiple stages of property preparation without making customers coordinate several different crews.

Ultimately, our work is about making property more useful. Whether the job starts with thick vegetation, rugged ground, site preparation needs, or an existing septic concern, we focus on the work required to help prepare the property for what comes next.
